"Yes," she pouted. She noticed the look on his face. “What?”
"You left your LAPTOP behind to catch your flight to come see ME?" he clarified, not quite believing it.
"Yes," she replied ignoring what had to be a smug look on his face. “I did.”
"Chloe, it's not like you couldn't have waited for the next flight."
"I didn't want to wait for the next flight,” she huffed, realizing that he had her. “I wanted to see you."
She scowled at what he was sure was a goofy grin on his face.
“Stop it,” she warned.
"You must really like me."
"I wouldn't have left my custom made laptop in the hands of retired rent-a-cops if I simply liked you."
